I get a lot of questions about my favorite products; keep in mind that this is always changing because I am a junkie.

Red lipstick, department store: Asking this is like asking me to choose between my children. I’m going to say MAC over NARS for the color and texture variety. Try Ruby Woo, Russian Red or Lady Danger, if you can get it … it’s not always available in the States.

Red lipstick, drugstore: CoverGirl Lip Perfection in Hot. It’s perfect, almost as good as MAC. Runner up: Wet ‘n’ Wild Megalast in Red Velvet/Stoplight Red. $1.99 and fantastic.

Non-red lipstick: NARS Schiap, bright Barbie pink, or Armani Beige 102, a really great pinky-nude.

Mascara: I have tried hundreds of mascaras, from Diorshow to Maybelline. I keep coming back to Lancome Hypnose, and no wonder - my mom has worn Lancome mascara since I can remember. I learned from the best.

Eyeliner: Upscale? MAC Fluidline gel eyeliner in Blacktrack, which I use for a cat eye. A pot lasts you forever … I’m talking over a year. Drugstore? Rimmel Kohl liner, which I keep in my bag in case of impromptu sleepovers or cocktail hours.

Bronzer: NARS Laguna, no question. Brown, not orange. Slightly shimmery, but not glittery. Lifelike, not matte. I like it in powder form, though the Multiple version looks great on eyes and lips.

Nail polish: I’m going to say Essie. I’ve tried so many different brands and colors, but Essies might have my heart. Maybe it’s because I like the cute bottles and arranging them by color, which I do realize is nutso. Second place is a tie between China Glaze and Butter London.

Haircare: Shimmer Lights shampoo for brightening blonde, It’s a 10 serum/leave-in, coconut oil deep-treatments, Aveda Be Curly. I wash my hair about once a week, max.
